1. We have the Word Recognition Game for traditional classes on June 2nd to be held in the cafeteria area. No cultural class this week. Pizza will be served for those who (students, teachers, and volunteers) participates the word recognition game.
本週(六月二日)認字遊戲將於大餐廳舉行。文化課不上，參加遊戲者(學生老師及義工)於活動結束之後，均可享受學校準備的比薩餅(別吃太多免得烤肉吃不下) 。
2. The BBQ event will be held after the word recognition game at the Tamaques Park in Westfield. We have a total 57 attendants. We have prepared 5 different meats (burgers, hot dogs, beef, pork ribs, chicken legs) for this event. On-site registration is welcome at a flat rate of $11.00 (10% higher) rate for people 4 years old and older (100 years older is free). The extra money of $1.00 (or $5.00 for children) is a ‘penalty’ for “late registration” for which you might consider as the ‘donation’ to our school. (This is also to ‘prevent’ too many people join at the last minute which might ruin the event – some people might eat less meat due to those ‘last minute attendants’.)
六月二日的烤肉活動一共有57人報名，學校為此一活動準備了五種不同的肉類以供選擇，包括漢堡，熱狗，牛肉，豬排，及雞腿。臨時報名亦歡迎，每人一律十一元(四歲以上至一百歲，一百歲以上免費)多出的錢就當是捐款吧。
3. CACA 2012 Fun Day tug of war competition we (UCS) got the 3rd place and won $300.00 cash. For those attendants of this competition, you are entitled to a free ‘teacher appreciation party’ that will be held on 6/9 (next Saturday). If you haven’t registered this event please go to Lorraine Schug or Lily for registration. The price for the luncheon (for non-teachers, non-volunteers, and no- tug of war attendants) is $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for children. Registration form can be printed by the enclosed forms (one in English, one in Chinese).
本校贏得CACA五校拔河比賽第三名及三百元獎金，凡當日下場比賽者，都可免費參加六月九日的謝師宴。尚未註冊此一活動者，請向Lorraine Schug 或新校長陳莉莉(我終於要下台了)報名，大人每人十元，小孩每人七元，報名表在附錄中請自行印出。謝謝。

4. Music from China will have a concert on 6/2 night at Drew University and they will also host a summer camp in late July to early August this year. For more information please see the attached file for details.
長風少年中樂團將於六月二日舉行音樂會，並於七月底至八月初舉辦暑期國樂夏令營，詳情請參閱附件。
5. Chinese American Music Ensemble (CAME) will have their 18th annual concert to be held on this Sunday (6/3) afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Willow Grove Presbyterian Church (1961 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). They have very abandon programs and also will provide free refreshments after the concert. You and your family are invited to see their free concert of this year. A program sheet is included for your reference in the attachment. Thanks.
中美合唱團將於本週日(6/3) ，下午四到六點在Scotch Plains 的Willow Grove 長老教會，(地址是1961 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076)舉行第十八屆年度演唱會。節目豐富，老少咸宜，適合全家觀賞。會後並有飲料點心招待，歡迎闔第光臨。其節目單附於附件之中，請自行參閱，謝謝。
6. 中美文化協會婦女會將在六月九日假South Plainfield的China Buffet 舉辦年度聚餐。歡迎會員與非會員們一起來參加。當晚會有集體舞，交際舞及歌唱。

非會員：$18.00

The CACA Women’s Club will host a dinner party on 6/9 (Saturday) at China Buffet in South Plainfield, NJ (the same place where we will have the teacher appreciation luncheon at noon). If you are interested in joining please just ‘stay there longer enough’ (from noon time). They also have karaoke and boardroom dance after dinner.
