1. Deadline of submitting entries of Drawing contest is this Saturday, 1/5/13. Please remember to bring in the drawing entries.

繪畫比賽截稿日期是本週六（一月五日）。請記得把參賽圖畫帶來學校。

2. 1/5 and 1/12 are Add/ Drop days. You can add or drop classes of the second semester without penalty. After these two days, any changes in registration will incur a fee.

一月五日和十二日是加退選的日期，在這兩天以後做加退選要另交費用。

3. The results of the CACA Inter-School Speech Contest of 12/15/2012 has been announced. Students from UCS have achieved outstanding results. In Group D, Emma Chen won the second place and Grace Wu won the third place. In CSL 2, Erica Schug won the second place and Katherine Schug won the third place. Congratulations to the winners! Thanks to all the participating students and volunteer parents who made this event a success!

中美五校演講比賽決賽已圓滿結束，聯合中文學校的學生表現出色。陳述穎同學和吳孟于同學分別獲得D組第二和第三名；Erica Schug 和Katherine Schug 同學也分別獲得CSL2 組第二和第三名。恭喜各位得獎的同學！在此也要感謝所有的參賽者及義工家長們，使這次的賽事順利完成！

4. The Nai-Ni Chen dance company will have a performance on 1/26 (Sat) 2 pm in Grounds for Scrulpture (18 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton Township, NJ), with a demonstration by master of origami, Mr. Ching. Please call for more information (609) 586-0616

5. The Nai-Ni Chen dance company will perform two shows in NJPAC to celebrate the Chinese New Year: 2/9 (Sat) and 2/10 (Sun) at 2 pm. On Sunday, there will be a banquet gala at 4.30pm. Ticket prices are $25 for adult and $13 for children (performance only); $125 for adult and $50 for children (performance and banquet). Please call 1-800-650-0246.
