1. 1/4 and 1/11 are Add/ Drop days. You can add or drop classes of the second semester without penalty. After these two days, any changes in registration will incur a fee. 一月四日和一月十一日是加退選的日期，在這倆天以後做加退選要另交費用。
2. Please be advices the space outside of cafeteria is not parking space. Anyone who needs to load equipment and food to the building should use it as temporary loading spot only. 請注意: 學校餐廳外的空地不是停車位, 如需搬東西進出學校只能暫時停留. 請大家多諒解.
3. Due to high demand on getting the first half-year of classes finished and giving students more time to practice for Chinese New Year celebration, we are changing the 12/14/13 snow make up day from February 15, 2014 to January 18, 2014. 補課日期改至一月十八日.
4. January 25, 2014 is New Year Show Rehearsal day (regular class time)
3. Chinese New Year is coming soon! According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the New Year Day will be January 31, when we will start the Year of Horse. Chinese New Year is the most important festival of the Chinese culture. The annual Chinese New Year celebration is also our school’s most important event of the year. Here, I invite all families of UCS to participate and celebrate with us. On February 1, we will have a performance in the afternoon. A gala dinner party will follow it. We will NOT have regular class in the morning on February 1, 2014. THE PARTICIPATION OF EVERY FAMILY OF OUR SCHOOL IS VERY IMPORTANT to make this event a success. Please bring your families and friends to learn and experience our beautiful Chinese culture! Only with your support that it can become a happy and fun event! PLEASE JOIN US! Hope to see ALL OF YOU there!!

§ Decoration of the cafeteria and Setup of tables, food, raffles….
§ Students’ rehearsal (class teacher will announce the time of arrival for students to school for rehearsal).
3:00 to 5:00 PM – Performance in the auditorium
5:30 to 9:00 PM – Gala Dinner Party
9:00 PM to closing – Clean up
新年快到了! 今年的大年初一是一月三十一日，在此邀請大家擁躍參加本校於二月一日舉行的新年晚會，一起慶祝馬年的開始。希望學校每個家庭都能熱烈支持！

1. Parents Seminar - provided by Eye Level Learning center of Cranford on 1/11
Alex will be in school to talk about developing math and language skills with regards to the common core curriculum that the public schools have adopted. It is an excellent opportunity for parents to learn how to help your children to build a stronger study habit and more. Please refer to attached flyer. Eye Level offers UCS family discount when sign up classes.
2. The CACA Inter-School Speech Contest day changed to 1/11. Participating students please arrive punctually. All other members of the schools are welcome to come and support the students of our school! 參賽的同學請準時報到.
3. Chinese Year is around the corner, we will have celebration start with student performances and follow by the dinner party. We are in need of many volunteers. 國立臺灣師範大學為提高海外青裔少年的華語學習動機，自2013年起開辦華語遊學團，並以「驚豔臺灣」為活動宗旨，用生動實用的華語教學與多元豐富的文化景點探索，帶給海外華裔青少年不一樣的臺灣經驗！以華語文化學習為主的2014驚豔臺灣「華語遊學團」將在春、夏季各開辦一梯次，另以旅遊體驗臺灣文化為主的「文化觀摩團」亦將於夏季與冬季各開辦一梯次。
