1. UCS Cultural Event – Making Dragon Beard Candy (龍鬚糖) on June 7
Student should arrive to school directly report to cafeteria.
No culture class, please pick children on time tomorrow (10:50am).
The event of making Dragon Beard Candy (龍鬚糖) in the cafeteria starting 9:20 AM.

SPECIAL NOTES:
(1) K1 and K2 students who would like to participate in the event, one parent is required to participate with the student. Younger students do not have the strength to make Dragon Beard Candy by themselves.
(2) Every student has to bring a 10'' X 13'' tray (either aluminum or metal) to make the candy.
(3) Every student has to bring a cover box to take the candy home.

2. UCS Annual BBQ COOK OUT on June 7 – Location: Tamaques Park in Westfield
Each year, we gather together at one of the park to enjoy a relaxed time together as a big family. We celebrate our children has accomplished another year of learning Chinese.
School will provide all the BBQ meat, hot dog, hamburger, watermelon, and drinks. I will personally make ice snow cone… Bring in your favor dishes to share with each other. Traditional Food is a great way to show a part of Chinese culture.
I hope you can all come to join me for this event on June 7. The cook out will starts after we finish making Dragon Beard Candy in School.

3. Graduation Day
June 14 is our last day of school. All students are to be attending this day; it is count as a school day. Come to celebrate with our graduate students and their parents. Imaging you will be the proud parents one day when your children graduate from Union Chinese school and you would have many friends who have become part of your families.
Other Note:
June 7 and 14 will not have culture class.
