**美東中文學會捐贈麥當勞2011年月曆(超過150本) 給本校，有與趣者可在本週六于中文學校領取，每戶以2本為限，先到先領送完為止。

ANJCS donated more than 150 of McDonald 2011 calendars Concert

to UCS. If you are interested to have one please come to school this week. Every family can have 2 of them. First come, first serve, till all calendars are gone.

**感謝林宮餐廳老闆林宮先生捐贈本校現金一千元整，本人僅代表全體師生及工作人員向其致謝，並希望本校家長們曰後能多多捧場，照顧其生意(含他的餐廳) 。

We received a verbal commitment for a $1,000.00 dollars donation to UCS last week from the owner of Mr. Lin’s Taiwanese Restaurant in Morristown. As a principal of UCS, I represent all the students, teachers and staffs of UCS to express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Lin. Hope our UCS family members can buy more stuffs from him next time when he is in school for business (including go to his restaurant in Morristown).

**新年晚會將舉行卡拉OK比賽，即日起接受報名。
十人為限，請向蔡釆吟女士報名，一月底截止。可自備光諜或向蔡釆吟女士登記選曲，每人一首為限，時間不超過5分鐘。無報名費，前三名者發放獎品，詳情請洽蔡釆吟女士。

There will be a Karaoke contest on Chinese New Year dinner party in the evening of 2/5/11. Whoever is interested in attending please contact Ms. Charlene Tsai. There is a limit of 10 contestants due to ‘time constraint’ and the deadline is on 1/31/11. You may prepare your own DVD/VCD or can go to her to select the songs from her karaoke machine, limit one song per person within 5 minutes of length. There is no registration fee and the first 3 winners have a prize for you.
