*** Activities, Events & Announcements *** 近期活動介詔、公告及宣佈事項

1. UCS will host this year’s CACA 5-school Speech Contest on 12/10/11 at our auditorium。 (聯合今年將 舉辦 中美文拹五校演講比賽)。

2. UCS intramural speech contest will follow the same rules as specified in the enclosed file. There will be two rounds of intramural speech contest. The first round is today (10/29) and the final round will be on 11/19. For the first round of speech contest, all students are encouraged to attend. Please look at the enclosed file to find your group (it is determined by your age, not by your grade) and go to the corresponding classroom for attending the speech contest. The first 5 winners of each group will get a paper certificate. The final round of intramural speech contest will be attended only by those first ½ winning students (up to 9 people) in each group. In each group the first 3 winners will get a trophy and the first 2 winners will represent UCS to attend the CACA 5-school speech contest on 12/10.

3. Today’s speech contest schedules are as follows:

9.00 for Group A, B, CSL 1
The contest will start punctually at 9.10.

9.50 for Group C, D, CSL 2, 3
The contest will start punctually at 10.00.

For group C, D, CSL2 and CSL3, please take break between 9:40-9:50 instead of 9:50-10:00. Please don’t be late for the ‘order drawing’, especially for groups A, B, and CSL-1 groups.

4. The ‘school library’ will open today (10/29), please utilize it if you want to borrow some books/magazines from school. 學校圖書館今天開放借閱，請多利用。

5. We will have our first coupon redemption day on 11/5/11. Drawing contest paper will also be distributed to students on this day. 獎勵卷兌換將於十一月五日舉行，並發放繪畫比賽稿紙。

6. There is no class on 11/12, due to NJ Teachers Conference Day event. 十一月十二日，學校停課乙次(新澤西州教師研習會) 。
