*** Activities, Events & Announcements *** 近期活動介詔、公告及宣佈事項

1. Snow Day Make Up class is on 2/18/12. Please note that due to the snow day school closed on 1/21, the board of directors had reached an agreement that we would do the ‘snow day make up class’ on 2/18 (The President’s Day weekend). Please make arrangement for it if you have a conflict on that day and hope that most of our students can come to class on that date. We apologize for any inconvenience it might cause you and your family.

理事會日前決議通過二月十八日(總統日週末) ，學校照常上課，此為行事曆上預定之下雪補課日，此次終於派上用場，請各位老師及同學們記得來上課，謝謝。對於可能造成你或家人的不便之處，本人僅代表學校先向你致歉。

2. The annual ANJCS Chinese calligraphy contest is scheduled on 3/4 at Bergen Chinese School. For registration and detailed information please see the attachment file.

ANJCS 書法比賽將於三月四日舉行，報名請洽書法老師並參閱附錄。

3. Staring this semester, Gloria Shih and Lorraine Schug will take over Valerie Chang’s ‘language deal’ position, as the language dean and co-dean, respectively. Valerie will continue to be the CSL-5 class teacher. Thanks for all three people’s support for this position.

本校雙語班成長地很快，從本學期開始史張薆雩及Lorraine Schug 將接CSL教務及副教務，前教務尹幼華繼續教學的工作，謝謝三位義工的支持。

4. We have a new ‘food vendor’ who will come this week to UCS. Please show your support and try to buy some foods from this vendor if you can. The menu of the foods that this vendor is selling is included in the attachment. Thanks.

本週(2/4)聯合將有一家新來的美食場家到學校販賣食品，欲嚐鮮者請勿錯過好機會，請大家多捧場，場家所賣食品目錄請參閱附件。

5. The annual CACA Chinese New Year Gala event is on 2/11/12 (Saturday) night at The Palace (hotel) at Somerset Park in Somerset. For tickets please contact principal. Dinner menu is attached for your reference (very good one).
